Unlike many larger buildings, Moon River offers most tenants the convenience of ground-floor living, with just four of the 24 units on the second floor. We threw away all the tired old air conditioners, and we ripped out the wall-mounted gas heaters. We replaced them both with 13,000 BTU Fedders heat pumps, which offer quiet cooling in the summer and clean, well-circulated heat in the winter. Best of all, they come with remote controls. So sit back, relax, and dial in your optimum temperature. <top>

Moroccan Murals

How often do you find this? It's a hand-painted tile mural imported from Morocco on the North African coast. There are four of these gracing the courtyard, and they are complemented by hand-painted tile apartment numbers. It's just one of the small touches that make Moon River a nice place to live.  <top>
